Could old recipes be salvaged for research notes?

That seems like a practical way to make unwanted recipes less of a dead end. A modest, predictable amount of research notes would give players a reason to keep them without making each drop feel valuable.

It could help, but I’d make sure the option doesn’t replace the choice to sell recipes that still have value. Salvaging might work best for account-bound recipes or ones that can’t be sold for much.
