There is some talk that a recent split between CI Games and Epic might point to the next Lords of the Fallen game showing up on Steam at launch. Some people think that makes sense, while others say it is still just speculation until the store plan is officially announced.

The separation news does make a Steam release feel more likely, but it does not lock anything in by itself. A publisher can change storefront plans for a lot of reasons, and timing matters too. If the next game is aiming for a bigger PC audience, Steam would be the obvious place to start, but I would still wait for an actual announcement before treating it as fact.

That is pretty much where I land too. It points in that direction, but it is still just a clue, not confirmation.

I would read it as a business signal more than a promise. If a company is no longer tied to a specific distribution deal, then a wider PC launch becomes easier, especially for a sequel that may want stronger visibility than the first game got. Still, launch timing, contracts, and regional plans can all change the final result.

So yes, Steam is plausible. No, it is not guaranteed.

That split is the kind of thing people use to predict store pages, but it is easy to overread. The safer bet is to watch for official store listings closer to release.

Honestly, I would not lean too hard on rumor chatter about release windows either. Storefront speculation and launch date guesses tend to snowball together even when there is not much solid behind them. If the next game is in the same lane as the last one, a Steam listing would make sense, but it is still just a guess until the publisher says it outright.
