I’m farming the Legend exotic mission rotator for Ikelos weapon patterns, but I keep getting the SMG and hand cannon instead of the Sniper. Is there a useful way to judge whether to keep going?
Keep a simple count of runs and which weapons drop. It won’t change the odds, but it can help separate a genuinely long dry spell from the feeling that the same drops are happening every time. Without more drop data, there’s no solid way to say how rare the Sniper is.
If the other drops aren’t helping with the pattern you want, it’s fair to call this a frustrating grind. I’d set a limit on how long to farm in one session, then switch activities or come back later rather than letting the chase take over.
