I have been trying my best over the past few months to get creative with the video game music. With the Helldivers music, it makes sense to keep things in the heavy metal sphere but when it comes to other games, I want to try and see what other directions I can go. Silent Hill would most definitely suit something a bit more spooky, some kind of gothic metal perhaps but for this one I want the other direction.
I was initially aiming for something like the Ghostbusters theme but a little more spooky to fit that Silent Hill is a much darker universe. I dunno how much I hit the nail on the head with this one but the end result is one of the best songs that I have created so far I feel.
