I spoke to the mole man and he tells me he has lost his bomb bag in the room behind the rubble. I have no idea how to get a bomb over to this door to blow it open.
I have searched all around this room and I have found both blue chests and I have pushed one of the plungers closed with the ball but I don’t know what I am missing.

To get bombs to blow the door, you need to walk closer to the door. Look to the left and you will see there is a tunnel under the metal fence that you can. Crawl under and inside there are bomb flowers.
Kill the red guy and you can roll one of the bomb flowers back under the fence to blow the door open where the guy told you the bomb bag was.
