I just recently bought an hdmi capture card and have a MacBook Air. I don’t know where to plug in the capture card input. Can someone help me with that?

MacBook Airs have limited input ports. Since you have provided no information about the capture card you are using, I am going to assume it is just a regular USB cable. Your Mac should have a dongle which will allow you to connect normal USB cables to it. This will allow you to at least connect the capture card. You will need to make sure that this capture card supports Mac. You should have done this before purchasing it.
