WARNING! OVERLORD II'S SERVERS ARE DOWN. This makes getting the platinum trophy impossible unless you already have the online trophies.
Overlord II is one of my all time favorite games and is an insanely easy game to platinum, save for the multiplayer trophies. With the servers being down, I will only be showing the guides to the offline trophies. Luckily even if you don't have the multiplayer trophies you can still get 44 trophies to add to your collection.

Now you're going to have to complete the game once and complete most of it a second time, as there are several choices to make, both with their own set of trophies. Note that for your second run you don't actually need to beat the full game, just achieve either a 100% destruction or domination rating (which occurs before the final battle with the empire).
Step 1: Domination Run, Collectibles, Rock On, and Minion Captain, Blue Steel look
Your First run should focus on domination, as it makes the game easier than destruction. You will have access to workers who will give you infinite gold, weapons and armor and lifeforce, making farming for resources much easier. Just be sure to achieve 100% Domination. See The Dominator for more details. To enslave people hold down the button until their health lowers, then release. Be sure not to kill anyone in either Norberg Town or Everlight City. Also, be noted that enslavement only works on civilians and certain characters like the Senator. You're also going to want to get all of the dark crystals to get the Collector trophies, and the Blue Steel Look. During this run you should get:
Rescuer of Kelda
Tyrant of Nordberg
Tyrant of the Tower
Armed and Dangerous
Blue Steel Look
New World Order
Corruptor of the Queen
Tyrant of Everlight
Dark Fay's Special Friend
You can also get the other Special friend trophies on this run (except for Ghost Fay's Special Friend), but I recommend just saving them for the destruction run, as you'll have more money.
Step 2: Destruction Run, Kitted Out
Now you're going to want to do your destruction run. Resources aren't as easy to come by, but it's much easier to get 100% Destruction than Domination. All you have to do is kill everyone you see. This includes *SPOILER* Queen Fay, right after you turn her to the dark side. You should still try to get all the dark crystals so you can get the Kitted Out Trophy and build everything in the tower if you haven't done so last time.
Here you should be getting:
Kelda's Special Friend
Juno's Special Friend
Ghost Fay's Special Friend
Step 3: Clean Up
Hopefully, you haven't missed the missable trophies and can now just worry about cleaning up. At this point, you are likely only missing any trophies that require farming (scrooge, build the tower to 100%, ect.). These are easy to get post-game, so just scroll down to whatever you need. The only trophies you'd be missing here are likely:
Then of course multiplayer trophies.
Not possible as servers are shut down.
Story Related and cannot be missed. Unlocked right after you bring Kelda to your Tower.
Story Related and cannot be missed. Unlocked right after you bring Juno to your Tower.
Story related but should only be done on a domination run, as you do have the option to "overcharge" her and kill her for destruction.
This is easily missable as not many players actually know about this. After you finish charging the tower heart with the Queens energy, she will turn to the dark side. YOU MUST keep draining her and she will die, prompting another cutscene and turning her into ghost Fay. You MUST do this on a destruction run, as it will prevent you from getting 100% domination.
Story Related and cannot be missed. You get this when you rescue Kelda.
Story Related and cannot be missed. You get this when you rescue Juno.
After rescuing Juno you can buy upgrades for your tower. These are purely cosmetic, however, but after buying all of Kelda's decorations, a cutscene will play and you will get the trophy. You can buy these upgrades from the private quarters, near where the mistresses are held.
I recommend doing this after you get the Scrooge trophy on a destruction run.
Story Related and cannot be missed. You get this after beating the game regardless of your tyranny rating.
This can take some time but I highly recommend doing it on a domination run. First off, you're going to want 50 minions. To unlock this you'll need all the minion totems (they're pretty easy to find, none are really hidden at all. Here is a thread for all the collectibles), as well as the infernal helmet, which you should be able to get after the end of the game. If not just farm some gold or whatever you need to unlock it. Now with 50 minions go to Nordberg town and just sit by some of the blacksmithing stations and sweep your minions around to pick up the loot. This isn't too hard, just a bit time-consuming.
This can be acquired on either a destruction or domination run, but if you're doing it on a domination run be sure you're doing this on imperial soldiers and not civilians in Nordberg or Everlight. It is easiest to get this on a destruction run, however. Just go to a town and hold down the button on the civilians until they die. If you need more mana then walk next to the tower gate and you will recharge.
You will likely get this trophy at some point early on. Just help your minions fight off their enemies and you'll likely get this before you reach Everlight.
Story related and cannot be missed. You'll get this trophy after rescuing the Red Hive.
Story Related and cannot be missed. Get it after saving the greens from Everlight.
Story related and cannot be missed. You get it after the arena games.
When in the forge you'll see a massive wooden barrel-like object that you can interact with. If you go before getting the Red minions you'll only see "upgrade browns level 1". You need to buy all four levels which will cost a total of 40,000 gold and 16 dark crystals. You will also need to unlock each minion tribe before being able to upgrade them. Now you will get this trophy halfway there, so you can just upgrade the browns and reds to get it early on. Upgrade the Greens and Blues to get Tyrant of the Tower.
Read Master Builder.
The following is a list of the choices:
- Kill/Dominate Borius in Nordberg
- Light the final tar pit in Norhaven/Dominate 10 people. Only use browns if you want to be safe.
- Destroy/Dominate the Elven Commune (sidequest)
- Kill/Dominate the Governess of Everlight.
- Kill/Dominate Senator Drearius and his wife in the Empire Heartlands.
- Kill/Dominate the Yeti in the Arena
- Kill/Dominate everyone in Nordberg/Everlight.
- Kill Dark Queen Fay or let her live as your mistress. You have the choice after the cutscene with Fay.
- Kill/Chase away the Elven rebellion. Save before you start this as this can break your entire run. At the end of the rebellion, you see a giant platform with 10 or so elves on it. Use the reds to blow it up for Destruction or Greens with spiders to scare them away for domination. As the rebels and citizens are both hostile, be very careful when killing enemies, you don't want to accidentally kill and elf and not get the trophy due to one person.
Be sure to Dominate all of those choices. And be sure to save before the Elven Rebellion mission. It is entirely possible for an elf to blow themselves or another civilian up.
See The Dominator.
See Perfect Horde for list of collectibles.
See Perfect horde for a list of collectibles. For this you just need 15 of the 30 Crystals.
See Perfect horde for a list of collectibles. Now, this trophy is actually missable, as there is a dark crystal in the wasteland sanctuary that is impossible to get if you don't get it the first time. There is also a chance for Gnomes to steal some of the dark crystals, like the one in the Nordberg Sanctuary.
It is likely you won't get this till post-game, however, there is a simple way of getting this. While on the mission to charge the tower heart in the Wasteland Sanctuary, go to where it lands when it covers the Gnome Hole. Lift it up and move it out of the way but DO NOT put the Mother Goddess statue over the red gnome spawner. Instead, have a full horde of browns, reds, and a handful of blues (to move the statue when you're done), and put them on a guard marker so they block the path to your tower gate. Then stand on the opposite side of them as gnomes spawn and die almost immediately. Some will get through and if you take too much damage just stand next to your gate to heal up.
If you have already beaten the game, you can go to the Everlight facility and just stand next to one of the gnome gates, open it, and put your minions on a guard marker. This takes more time (barely though) but will give you brown and green lifeforce, as opposed to just red. This can also be done at any point after unlocking the green hive.
Perhaps the most annoying trophy in the game, just go to the Everlight temple over and over again and collect the gold from its treasury. It'll keep respawning and you'll get about 1.3k each time. I also recommend you do this on a destruction run so you get more money from destroying the towns.
See Kelda's Special friend.
This trophy is missable, but is easily done in the tutorial. When you have to flatten the blockade with the catapult, aim for the soldiers instead. You'll get twice the amount of kills than you need if you hit them head on.
See Kelda's Special Friend. Note you must have Dark Fay and not Ghost Fay.

NOT POSSIBLE TO GET AS THE SERVERS ARE DOWN.
NOT POSSIBLE AS THE SERVERS ARE DOWN
NOT POSSIBLE AS THE SERVERS ARE DOWN
NOT POSSIBLE AS THE SERVERS ARE DOWN
NOT POSSIBLE AS THE SERVERS ARE DOWN. Who thought this one was a good idea anyway? It's nearly impossible unless you did it with a friend who was helping you get the trophy.
You'd likely get this at some point. Just go to the forge and forge anything. See Weapon Nut.
You can forge these after you get the forge stone in Everlight, right before meeting the green minion tribe. To forge these you'll need 11,500 gold, 45 light crystals, and a dark crystal. Now if you don't want to lose these things you can just make two saves, then reload whichever one wasn't autosaved over after you get the trophy.
Now some people say this is missable, but it's easy to get either way. Most of the minions are in plain sight, and you can just go around saving them within a few minutes. The last two are found after you meet the green minions.
This is pretty easy to get. Just forge the cheapest weapons.
You should get this on your destruction run after you get the Scrooge trophy. You can also get this on the domination run, as you will be needing the helmet for another trophy anyway.
Story related and cannot be missed. You will get this trophy before any other.
You'll get this during the first mission as the Overlord.
You'll get this during the story unless you have been doing everything in your power to avoid lifeforce.
Now you may get this during the story, but see Minion Lover if you haven't.
It is entirely possible to get this during the story, but I seriously doubt you will get it. Now there are a few methods to doing this, either one of the two gnome methods (at Everlight facility or the Wasteland sanctuary), or on a domination run in Everlight City. I recommend the latter. Just go into the city and stand by one of the shops as lifeforce spawns. You can just watch YouTube or something as you sweep your minions around every so often to collect this lifeforce.
Story related and cannot be missed. You will get this after you defeat the salamander king.
Kill everyone in Nordberg or Everlight. You'll get this on your destruction run.
Just kill everyone. Do this on Destruction run.
Hold to enslave everyone in a town. Make sure no one dies and do this for your domination run.
Enslave both towns, do this on domination run.
Okay so this is like the special friend trophies, but to do this you'll need to buy the Overlord's banner, two decorations for Kelda, two for Juno, and two for Ghost or Dark Fay. This only cost around 6k or something. It's pretty easy to get and they give you some object after the cutscene.
Do you love seals? Well too bad. Club one hundred of them. You should do this on a destruction run as you'll need the life force, but this can be done on either runs. Just go back to the Hunting grounds to that one spot where there were dozens of them. Should only take a couple visits.
