The beloved beaver-themed citybuilder, Timberborn, is set to expand its creative possibilities with Update 7: Ziplines & Tubeways, arriving on Steam May 8, 2025. This new chapter promises to make the lives of your industrious beaver citizens more connected than ever, with brand-new transportation systems tailored to the game’s unique factions.
For the first time, players can equip the Folktail faction with exciting ziplines, offering a speedy and scenic way for beavers to traverse cities from above. Meanwhile, the Iron Teeth faction will receive their own technological leap: tubeways, adding an underground transportation option that blends perfectly with their industrial aesthetic. Both systems are poised to shake up settlement layouts, emphasizing verticality and efficient resource movement.
Update 7 also introduces significant changes to city planning with new 3D Terrain features and tunnels.
