Achievement Guide
Careful Calculation Ending Careful Calculation Ending
You achieved the “Careful Calculation” ending

In this ending, you destroy the Quantum Conscience project, but you choose to keep working with Veramus to aid Teballai. To achieve this outcome, you can use the Void to read people’s thoughts occasionally, but you must avoid using it to betray your teammates.

Necessary choices:

  • Do NOT read the Vandorfin coordinates in Amalek’s mind when the Shadow asks you to.
  • Do NOT read the minds of your teammates on the second mission to Teballai.
  • When you are being held captive in the brig, choose Veramus to help you get out.
  • You must read/attempt to read Veramus’s mind frequently enough to see his thoughts by the time you reach Ludebba. When he pulls you aside to talk to you, you will get a chance to Dive Deeply into his mind. Do it.
  • When Veramus asks you to look up the number in his head, you must do so; you must also be able to break all the way into his mind and Dive Deeper.

Variations within this ending:

  • You may keep Mierol with you and still get this ending.
  • You will reunite with Amalek in the Epilogue if you previously saved his life.
Viva Veramus Ending Viva Veramus Ending
You achieved the “Viva Veramus” ending

In this ending, you choose to team up with Veramus. You keep the power of the Quantum Conscience project and forsake both the FOEs and ARCHON to run away with Veramus. To achieve this outcome, you must use the Void frequently, even if you betray your teammates by doing so.

Necessary choices:

  • Read the Vandorfin coordinates in Amalek’s mind when the Shadow asks you to.
  • Read the minds of your teammates on the second mission to Teballai.
  • When you are being held captive in the brig, choose Veramus to help you get out.
  • When Veramus asks you to look up the number in his head, you must do so; you must also be able to break all the way into his mind and Dive Deeper to see the correct number.

Variations within this ending:

  • If Mierol is still with you through the ending and you’ve formed a romantic relationship with her, then you will become a ménage à trois.
FOE Forever ending FOE Forever ending
You achieved the “FOE Forever” ending

In this ending, you remain loyal to the FOEs and destroy the Quantum Conscience project. To achieve this outcome, you must generally avoid reading minds, especially Korah’s, Crain’s, or Amalek’s.

Necessary choices:

  • Generally avoid reading people’s minds.
  • Do NOT kill Crain.
  • Form a strong relationship with Korah. When you are being held captive in the brig, choose her as your partner to help you get out.
  • When Veramus demands that you search his mind for a number, do NOT look into his thoughts at all.

Variations within this ending:

  • You may keep Mierol with you and still get this ending. However, if you do, she will kill Veramus
  • You will reunite with Amalek in the Epilogue if you previously saved his life
Lost and Confused Ending Lost and Confused Ending
You achieved the “Lost and Confused” ending

This is the default ending if you do not meet the criteria of any other ending.

Variations within this ending:

  • If you use the Void rarely and form a good relationship with Korah, you will destroy the QC machine. Otherwise, you choose to keep your power.
  • You will reunite with Amalek in the Epilogue if you previously saved his life and if he doesn’t suspect you of betraying him.
