You need to complete the tutorial, shouldn’t be too hard.
Complete the levels of the campaign. Golden calves can be used to skip levels, they randomly appear in maps, and if you get them and lose the map you’ll still have the calf and will be able to use it. You can skip all the way to the end and still get the achievement. Same applies for the other campaign. I did all the levels except Tribriand Islands.
Complete the levels of the campaign. Golden calves can be used to skip levels, they randomly appear in maps, and if you get them and lose the map you’ll still have the calf and will be able to use it. You can skip all the way to the end and still get the achievement. Same applies for the other campaign. I did skip most of them, but here’s some strategies for maps I did do:
Here you have to elevate the edge of the volcano as much as you can, so the world doesn’t get flooded, and build a city on that mountain edge.If you cover enough part of it, the nearby lands below will not get flooded, giving you enough ground to plant. Try to completely cover the volcano if you didn’t. Build churches against the flood, and eventually you will be able to reach the lower grounds to build those three cities.
You start in the elevated part in the center, but that will eventually be flooded. Dig down to reach the lower area, then relocate to the area where the snow is at the start, in the north. That area will be safe enough after the flood, and leaves you enough ground for planting.
You start in the lower area in the center surrounded by mountains. Build your town near the surrounded lake in a safe spot, then dig it out so it floods out, and hydrates the lower areas enough for plants to grow. If you don’t do this, the global warming will not leave any plants for you. Plant stuff and wait until you get enough coins. Then you need to dig your way to the lake in the north that should be dry by then. If you dig there once you’ll get a hole, and then you need to let the lake flow out towards that hole to completely dry out the lake. Then you can build that city.
I did this on Global Warming, first map of base campaign.
First, you have to encase a good portion of the island with mountains to create a basin and keep the flood out (refer to screenshot at bottom), thus not needing to build Churches at all.
Level a good portion of the land to get enough stones, about 500 (or 999 if also doing Stonecutter). Build enough granaries to reach 1000 capacity, no need to build more since your food can’t get above 999, even if capacity can. Then build 26 or more cities, plant as many fields in one turn as you can, then just wait until food goes up to 999, then wait some more till food decreases, reaches a low amount, and cities start to hunger and their population go down. If you planted enough, you should reach 9999 gold before they die out. If you don’t reach 9999 by the time cities go down to 1.5, plant one field per city, wait till cities go up to 4.0 then retry from planting as much fields as you can and wait again.
This took me about 3 hours, but it might take more.
You need to cut 999 stones on one map while both gods are unlocked.
I did this on the first level of the base campaign, “Global Warming”. Built one town, and two churches, then constantly dug and dug while keeping the population fed. 3 fields will keep the town and the two churches fed enough. When the nearby ground was flat enough, I moved the town to another place. Just be careful not to accidentally dig your only town, or you will lose. If Ikjuch’s balance starts to lean toward the Cubies side, you gotta bring up the pace and use more Cubies to dig or plant fields to get it balanced again. If it starts to lean towards the church side, just do nothing for a while to get it balanced again. Be prepared to do this for a few hours. The achievement will trigger at exactly 999 stones, so digging, elevating, re-digging the same spot 999 times will not work.
Alternatively, you can do this at the same time as the next achievement, Treasure Master!
Would save you time.
Description says: “You have collected all the treasure chest in Hard Times level using the ship.”
but for the achievement to trigger, you only need to get the last one with the ship.
Get #1 and #2 treasure as soon as possible with a Cubie.
Ignore the town near #2.
Elevade the ground near the center to keep the cities from flooding.
Reach the top left wall by elevating the ground to get #3, then break it down for the ship to get the #4 treasure on the top right area.
You need to reach 52 Cubies total in one level with both gods unlocked. That’s 13 cities, or less if you have Cubies outside.
If you use my strategy stated above to get Treasure Master, you’ll get this achievement along the way. If you don’t want to do that, here’s another strategy:
Go to Global Warming (first map of the base campaign) and do the following:
First, settle down with one town and 3-4 churces to keep the flood at bay, plant.
Then, build lots of granaries to bring up the capacity of the food (I stopped at 500 but can be higher)
Stock up on stone. You’ll need about 25-30 stones, after building the granaries. Since going steady and keeping 13 towns and 13 churches well fed and alive is pretty hard, you’ll need to rush the whole thing by scrapping the churches, building 7 towns total (can be more) then getting as much Cubies out of the towns to stand around as possible to push the population closer to 52, while letting the towns build up in population as well. The map will be pretty crowded with Cubies standing around and their “Too hot” warnings, so put some space between the towns. If you do it right, you can get to 52 before the Cubies outside die because of the heat. I suggest doing this achievement along with Trasure Master.
You need to build 16 Churches on the same level while both gods are unlocked.
You could try doing this separately, but it’s easier to do this after using my strategy for Treasure Master. After getting 9999 gold, scrap two cities, and you’ll have enough stone and gold to instantly build 16 churches.
