So, I’ve been thinking about the character switching in the new GTA game. From what we know, it looks like we’ll be switching between Jason and Lucia, but I’m wondering if there’s a chance we might get a third character. Rockstar always seems to push boundaries with each new game, so I figured they’d throw us a curveball this time around. After watching the trailers a bunch of times, I feel like there’s potential for a third character who isn’t on the main roster. My theory is that this character would be mission-specific, like Raul during the bank robbery scene, and wouldn’t be available outside of those missions. This way, we could switch to them for unique tasks that Jason and Lucia might not handle due to their lack of experience. What do you all think?

I totally get what you’re saying! I hope they do away with the whole ‘hey protagonist, do everything’ vibe and give us unique gameplay for each character. It would make missions so much cooler.
There’s also that FIB agent in the trailer, right? Maybe we’re gonna get to play as them, and Jason could actually be an undercover agent. That theory’s gaining some traction!
LOL, I mean, maybe Rockstar will surprise us and have a ton of characters to play as! But in reality, I think the third character might just be our online character. It’s easier to manage in an online setup, right?
