I’m currently playing CoD Black Ops 6 with a GTX 1060 6GB and getting around 75 FPS with FSR3 enabled. I’m considering upgrading to an RTX 2070 mainly because I want to use DLSS in hopes of hitting at least 120 FPS. Is that a realistic expectation?

The RTX 2070 is a solid upgrade and should significantly improve your FPS, but don’t forget it’s getting a bit old. Still, if you’re on a budget, it offers great value for the boost you’ll get, especially with DLSS. Just ensure you’re leveraging the full potential of your setup to see those gains!
It’s definitely possible! If you’re currently at 75 FPS with a 1060 while using upscaling, switching to a 2070 with the same settings could push you to around 120-140 FPS, provided your CPU is up to the task. The i5-12400F should be good, but ensure it’s not bottlenecking. Just keep in mind that online games can sometimes be limited by CPU performance, especially at 1080p.
Thanks for the insight! I’ll check if my CPU is affecting my performance.
Yeah, I’m budget-conscious as well, so it’s a tough call!
