I’m really curious about whether the PS5 will ever have a web browser. I understand that Sony might want to tighten security to prevent jailbreaking, but it seems like a legitimate browser would be super useful. Honestly, I’d even consider paying for a good browser app if it was out there—imagine something like Brave on the console! It feels like consoles are moving away from being all-in-one entertainment systems, and I think having a web browser would add a lot more value. Not everyone is only in it for the games, so why is there no browser option?

Honestly, I can’t figure out what people want to do on a browser. If you need to search for something, just use your laptop!
I honestly don’t see the need for a web browser on a console. I’d rather not fiddle around with browsing on my PS5 when I have a laptop.
