Hey everyone! I just jumped back into Save the World in December after a break and I missed a lot. I’m curious about the Plasmatic Discharger—does anyone know if it will make a comeback before Fortnitemares? I’ve heard mixed advice about using vouchers for it, with some saying it’s a good idea and others suggesting that it’s not worth it. Also, there are rumors floating around that Save the World might get shut down, which adds to my confusion. I’m currently trying to get a voucher but could use some insight on whether I should hold onto it or spend it—any advice would be greatly appreciated!

It might take a while for the Plasmatic Discharger to return, but getting a weapon ticket isn’t too challenging. Don’t believe those rumors about Save the World being shut down; it’s still going strong and probably will outlast some other modes. Keep your voucher handy for now!
I get it! I heard those rumors too, which is why I got back into the game. It’s a bummer because I missed out on a lot of V-Bucks that I could’ve earned. I thought it might magically drop this week, but it seems like planning is necessary. I’ll keep an eye on the event schedule!
It won’t return until Fortnitemares, so if you don’t have a friend who can craft them for you, it’s a good idea to go for it. The schematic is pretty essential if you’re looking to level up your game. People in the community are often generous about sharing if you ask in the right places!
I managed to get a couple given to me! I save mine for tough levels when I’m solo. Just hoping I don’t burn through them before the event kicks off!
Totally worth it! It’s becoming rarer to find viable weapons that need vouchers, so I’d grab it when you can. If you’re worried about them running out or not being available during special modes like Survive The Horde, maybe stock up on materials and get a friend to craft a bunch for you!
Definitely worth using a voucher, especially because most weapons now require Legendary Flux plus other resources instead of vouchers. If you’re looking for something that works for crowd control and smashing enemies, the Plasmatic Discharger is still a top choice early on in missions and super helpful! You might also craft a lot of them with friends for maximum efficiency.
Yeah, Epic is not likely to shut it down. They’d face legal issues since it’s a paid mode. I doubt anyone would actually sue, but they wouldn’t risk it.
