I’m considering buying a Dell Latitude 5420 because it’s priced at around $450, which is within my budget as a student. It features an i5 1145G7, 16GB of RAM, 512GB of storage, and integrated 8GB Iris Xe graphics. My main goal is to play Schedule 1 on it since my phone isn’t capable of running the game. I’m not too experienced with laptops, but I’ve been learning a lot. I’ve looked at other models, but I’m wary of the performance of UHD graphics for gaming. I would be happy if I could run the game on low settings at around 30fps. Any advice or suggestions on this would be greatly appreciated!

Honestly, you should be okay with the Latitude 5420! I play Schedule 1 on my older model, the 5320 with only 8GB of RAM, and while it’s not top-tier, it runs well enough to be playable. You’ll likely have a similar experience with the newer specs on the 5420!
Make sure you really need a laptop! If it’s only for school work and light gaming, there might be better options out there for your budget. But if you’re set on this model, I think it could manage your needs just fine!
Yep, I need it for more than just gaming. School work, browsing, and watching YouTube too!
Before you commit, check out this site: https://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri. It compares your hardware with the game’s requirements and shows if you’re lacking in any area. Just remember, even if you’re a bit short in certain specs, it might still run, but not as smooth as you’d like.
Thanks for the heads up! That’s good to hear!
