I’m making the jump from PS4 to PS5 and I’m a bit worried about my accounts. I’ve got quite a few accounts on my PS4, but I don’t remember all the passwords. If I do a complete data transfer to the PS5, will it require me to type in the password for each account when I first log in?

Yes, you’ll need to enter your passwords again when you log in to each account. Unfortunately, the transfer process won’t automatically carry those over; you have to type in the passwords for all your accounts as you log in.
Your login details are the same for both PS4 and PS5. But since you mentioned having multiple accounts, it can get complicated if you can’t remember the passwords. Just make sure you can retrieve them, or it might become a hassle when switching to the new console!
