Hey everyone! I’m about to get a MacBook and I’m hoping to transfer my game content smoothly. I’ve purchased my DLCs through the EA app on Windows, and I’m curious if I’ll be able to access them on my new Mac. For example, if I buy the ‘Get to Work’ expansion on the EA app for Windows, can I download it again on my Mac without having to buy it again?

Totally get it! I’ve been using the EA app for Sims 4 EPs on both Mac and Windows with no issues. My older Mac wasn’t able to handle it anymore, but if you keep everything in the EA app, you should be just fine!
Yes, as long as you bought your DLCs directly through the EA app, you should have no problem accessing them on both Windows and Mac. If you own the content on EA, it’s all linked to your account. Just make sure to avoid buying anything through Steam, as those won’t transfer to Mac.
Absolutely! Anything you own on the EA app can be used on either platform without a hitch. Just keep in mind that if you bought something on Steam, it won’t work on Mac; you’ll get a warning in the EA app if you try to use it. Stick to the EA app for peace of mind!
I appreciate the info! I’m making the switch because my old PC is super slow and getting outdated, so I’m relieved to hear this.
Thank you for confirming! I really don’t like Steam, it just confuses me!
