I’ve been trying to 100% complete this game, but I find myself losing interest around Mountain Knot. Since I want to finish the game before DS2 comes out, I’m wondering if I’ll miss out on anything significant if I just stick to the story missions. Can I go back later to complete the side content?

Honestly, while there’s definitely some cool lore in side missions and emails, the main story is fulfilling enough. Just beat the game. You won’t miss out on too much time-consuming stuff.
In my experience, prioritizing story missions introduced a sense of urgency that made it feel more immersive. You can always come back and fill in the side content later. Plus, the main story is totally engaging on its own!
For sure! Just make sure to deliver any pizzas you can for the extra rewards.
I think some pizza deliveries might disappear if you complete the story without doing them. But don’t worry, they come back later at the timefall farm in the southern area. Just focus on enjoying the story and come back for the extras after.
There’s not a ton you’re missing aside from some supplies or equipment. If you’re jumping straight to DS2 afterwards, just get the main story down first. Not the same deal in DS2, though!
You won’t miss anything major! You can always revisit side missions later to unlock rewards and improve your star ratings. Just keep in mind, the only thing you might miss is a permanent state change like losing half an ear during a boss fight, which is a bit of a minor spoiler. But overall, just focus on the story for now!
Haha, I sacrificed my ear too because that boss fight was just too good to end! Totally worth it.
No way, I didn’t even know that could happen! I hope those details carry over to the next game.
Exactly! The story is a blast, and you can always explore more afterward.
