I’m really hoping that GTA 6 captures the same hilarious spirit that the older GTA games had. They were known for their irreverent jokes and not taking anyone too seriously. A great example is the judge’s antics on the radio, which was a classic moment (I won’t spoil it, just check it out!). What do you all think?

Yeah, if the rumors are accurate, it seems like a lot of the classic team isn’t around anymore. The Housers, who were behind the stories, aren’t credited with GTA V since they left during that game’s development. I’m unsure about all the details though, just what I’ve picked up over time.
Actually, Sam Houser is still with Rockstar. Dan Houser, the major writer, left in 2020. I’ve heard he might have worked on GTA 6 before his departure, but we’ll see!
I’ve heard some rumors that the humor in GTA 6 might be toned down a bit. Not sure how credible those are, though!
I really hope that’s not the case! If you come across any articles about Rockstar softening the humor, I’d love to check them out.
Honestly, I think the humor will be a mix – probably about as much as in RDR2, which had its own fun moments, but wasn’t as wild as previous GTAs.
True, it’s pretty clear that Dan Houser’s absence will impact the writing and humor. Sam is still leading the charge, but having Dan and some other key players gone might change the vibe.
