I’m playing The Sims on console, and I’m running into a frustrating issue where my Sims won’t woohoo or try for a baby. Every time I attempt either action, it immediately gets canceled. They live together and there’s nothing obstructing them from woohooing. I’ve tried multiple locations like the rocket ship, dumpster, bed, and shower, but to no avail. Everything in Create-a-Sim seems normal, and I’ve reset them several times and even restarted the game. I’m in a legacy challenge, so this is really inconvenient! I even uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game and packs but still have this issue. The recent purchase of the Slumber Party Fit Kit doesn’t seem to be the culprit since it’s a CAS Kit, plus I did have a successful attempt in the dumpster before. The only thing I changed recently was one Sim’s gender using cas.fulleditmode after they became a teenager—could this have messed things up?

I am having the same issue on my laptop. The love hearts appear at the top but the interaction just cancels immediately. They wont woohoo or try for baby, no matter where. Different households too. Haven’t checked yet if just the one save or if its in others too. No mods installed
I am currently having this problem. Only with just ONE household. Turned all the mods off and everything they wont do it. They get all excited like they’re going to but then it glitches out and goes right back to nothing. Checked my second household and they went to do it with no issues?
Have you tried with other Sims or different save files? Sometimes specific households can glitch out. Also, which packs do you have? Sometimes they can interfere strangely. And do your Sims do the excited animations before the action gets canceled?
I’ve encountered a similar problem before. It turned out that one of my Sims was set to be “incompatible” with woohoo, meaning they weren’t interested in the action with any Sims—no matter the gender. Double-check their preferences in CAS to ensure everything looks good!
I saw that too, but the OP mentioned their Sims are set correctly. It might be worth checking out if other Sims in the game face the same issue.
I relate so much! If your Sims have been together since their teenage years, it can create problems if they age up at different times. I had a similar issue, and it meant I had to break up to get things working again. If that’s not the case, just keep trying different options and locations!
They actually aged up together, so this shouldn’t be an issue. But I’ll keep experimenting!
This might help! If these two have known each other since they were teens, and one aged up before the other, it could potentially corrupt their relationship. It happened to me before.
