I’ve been using the Xbox app for remote play for a while, and it was fantastic! As long as my internet was decent, I could play from anywhere within a three-hour radius of home. However, I’ve noticed that the new update has really messed things up. Now it barely works and when it does, there’s a huge lag of about ten seconds before my actions register. Since I travel every weekend, this is super frustrating for me.

Welcome to the support scene! Just a reminder that if you’re having these issues, make sure you check if you’re part of the Xbox Insiders preview program. Your problem might be tied to a feature that’s still being tested. That might help you troubleshoot better!
Totally feel you on this! It’s been really frustrating since the last update happened. I tried switching to xbox.com/remoteplay, and while it’s not perfect, at least I could open multiple windows. But honestly, it seems like the app is no longer usable for remote play. I hope the Better xCloud app still runs smoothly, though I haven’t tested it yet.
Yeah, I agree. The remote play functionality is pretty terrible now. It was a solid feature before, and I loved being able to game on the go. Now it just lags like crazy. Super disappointing!
