I’ve noticed that one of the Brahmin Caravans tends to get stuck just north of Milepost Zero, often behind a barricade. It seems to wander off the path and then just stands there, not moving. I’ve tried a bunch of things to get it unstuck, like using power armor, fast traveling away and back, or just running ahead to see if it’ll follow. Sometimes these methods work, but not consistently. With all the patches that have been released to fix the caravans, why hasn’t this issue been addressed? I’d think correcting its path or adjusting the barriers might be a simple fix, similar to what was done in Fallout 4.

Just fast travel away from the area for a bit—around two minutes—and then come back. It’s a silly workaround, but with Bethesda games, it feels like par for the course. The Brahmin needs a bit of a timeout sometimes!
Honestly, they should just implement a feature that warps the Brahmin to the next waypoint if it gets stuck for too long. It’d save everyone a lot of hassle!
I just accept that they’re going to get stuck from time to time. It’s hilarious when multiple players start attacking the Brahmin out of frustration. I’ve tried using power armor to push it, but more often than not, it just moves towards the cliff instead! Sometimes I think it’d be easier to let it die and just spawn a new one.
It’s strange how that spot was fine at first, but now it’s buggy. I wonder if they accidentally messed up its pathing while trying to fix other areas. It’s annoying, but kind of funny to see players getting frustrated with the Brahmin!
I’ve found that if everyone just leaves the event area for a little while—the Brahmin usually resets and will teleport back to the road. It might just get back on track where it got stuck, but it often does help!
I’ve had a bit of luck with letting Super Mutants attack the Brahmin first! I let them do some damage, then I take care of the mutants and the Brahmin tends to move afterward. It’s a weird method, but it sometimes works!
