I’m having a really tough time playing Rocket League on my Xbox One. When I go online, my FPS drops to about 20 or 30, and there’s a lot of input lag. The weird thing is that when I’m playing in LAN mode or during training, the game runs smoothly. This makes me think it’s an issue related to Psyonix rather than my console. Right now, I’m ranked 3 levels lower than usual, which is super frustrating since I feel so slow.
I’ve already tried a bunch of things: reinstalling the game, rebooting my console, turning off VSYNC, and lowering the graphics effects. However, as soon as I jump into an online match, the lag is unbearable. I came across some info a few months back about others experiencing similar issues, but it seems like nothing has changed. I’m looking for any advice or insights that might help!

I’m having the same experience on my Xbox Series X, so it seems to be a broader issue affecting multiple players. You’re definitely not alone in this.
You might want to turn on VSYNC as a temporary fix. It could help reduce the input lag a bit.
I tried enabling VSYNC, but it didn’t really help me at all.
