I’ve noticed that Rainbow Six Siege is significantly quieter than all my other games and apps, despite having my game volume set to maximum. I’ve checked my Windows settings and confirmed that the game’s volume is also at 100, and my overall audio slider is cranked all the way up. I recently purchased a pair of DT990 Pro headphones, but the issue persists even with my old gaming headphones. It’s frustrating because everything else seems so much louder. Can anyone help me figure out what’s going on?

I just installed new audio drivers to solve a similar issue, but it didn’t help at all. I’m really not keen on using a sound equalizer because those can mess with game sound quite a bit. There must be another way to sort this out!
Have you tried checking the loudness equalization settings on your audio driver? Sometimes, enabling this feature can help balance out the volume levels across different applications. It might make a big difference for you!
I don’t think my current drivers have that option, which is a bummer.
