I just got my Xbox Series X for Christmas 2024, and I’ve noticed that it randomly buzzes and causes the table to vibrate for a split second. It sounds like something’s shutting down and then quickly turning back on. This has happened a few times, including just 30 minutes ago. Is this a normal occurrence, or should I be concerned that there’s a problem with my console?

It sounds like the disc drive powering up briefly, especially if you hear it when inserting a disc. This is pretty normal for the Series X, but if it keeps happening without a disc involved, it might be worth investigating further.
Thanks! I’ll keep an eye on it, just wanted to make sure everything’s okay.
Sometimes devices make noises while adjusting internal parts or powering down. As long as it’s not affecting performance, it could just be standard operation, but keep monitoring it!
Exactly! If it becomes disruptive, just reach out for support.
Good point! I’ll check for any performance issues too.

Glad that helped! If it keeps buzzing without discs, check your settings or reach out to support for peace of mind.
