I’m having a weird issue where my X button is behaving like the PS button. I’ve tried resetting my controller and restarting my PS5, and it’s all set to default settings. Does anyone know what’s going on or how I can fix this?

This same thing happened to me! My post about it got lost in the void too. Honestly, some folks suggested just giving the controller a good smack, and apparently that works for some. But I ended up taking mine in for repairs and it’s all good now.
Double-check your settings! Sometimes the X button can be mapped to act like the PS button. Make sure any custom button layouts are turned off; you can find this in the settings.
