I recently got a pre-built PC featuring a Ryzen 5 8400F with an MSI Pro B650M-B DDR5 motherboard. I’m running into a problem where the CPU temperature rapidly jumps to 95°C under full load within just a minute. This seems way too hot for my liking! I’ve even swapped out the cooler and the CPU, but nothing seems to make a difference. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

What cooler are you using? It’s crucial to ensure you have a decent one that can handle your CPU’s heat output, especially under full load.
There could be multiple culprits here. Would you mind sharing a pic of your setup? It’d be helpful to know the brand and model of your case and cooler as well.
Sure! My case is a Thunder Casing Nitro TGC 648, MAT X, and I’m using the Acer Liquid Cooler AC240YN 240MM ARGB. Here’s a link to a pic of my setup: https://preview.redd.it/44ldzr752gwe1.jpeg?width=720&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e25ed44dc585ced364e1c7116ea7cb61ad3fa866.
Keep in mind that AMD CPUs tend to run hot! They are designed to reach their maximum temperatures under load. This isn’t necessarily a problem unless you’re consistently hitting these temps beyond what is normal.
I’m currently using the Acer Liquid Cooler AC240YN 240MM ARGB. I even tried a heat pipe cooler to see if it would help, but the temps remained the same.
