I’m having a tough time with my RTX 4070 dropping below 60 FPS in games like MWII and Black Ops 6. I’ve maxed out all the graphics settings except for screen space options, which I have set to none. I’m wondering if I should upgrade to a 4080S just to fix this issue.

Maybe try lowering some of the graphics settings. Sometimes, ultra settings are overkill and don’t noticeably improve how the game appears while actually playing. Especially for fast-paced shooters, you might want to prioritize higher FPS over max graphics.
First off, what’s your resolution? If you’re playing at 1440p with everything cranked up to ultra, that can definitely cause dips below 60 FPS. It might help to consider using DLSS to boost performance without sacrificing too much quality.
That’s strange! I’ve maxed out my RTX 4070 and usually get over 200 FPS on Black Ops 6. It sounds like there’s something not quite configured right on your end.
Have you checked your GPU temperatures? If your RTX 4070 is running fine under 60 degrees while gaming, that’s good, but if you’re still getting bad performance, something else might be off.
