Hey folks! So, I just snagged a Legion 5i 2024 (with an i9 14900hx, 32GB RAM, and RTX 4060) yesterday. After doing the whole Windows and drivers update thing, I noticed it’s still sipping on 7GB of RAM while basically doing nothing. Is this standard behavior? Also, for a rookie Legion owner like me, any tips on what software to ditch besides McAfee? Cheers for any advice!

It’s kinda common for Windows to gobble up between 8GB to 16GB even when you’re just chilling. The system uses RAM to speed up processes in the background, normal stuff if you ask me.
Yeah, this is all normal for Windows. If you want really low RAM usage, switching to Linux might be your only escape. But honestly, Windows doing that isn’t surprising at all.
Make sure you’ve got all startup apps turned off. A lot of them eat away at RAM quietly. You might wanna try out the Chris Titus Tool for debloating Windows a bit more. It can trim down unnecessary stuff. Worth a shot!
