I just installed a new GPU and hooked everything up correctly, but when I power on my PC and monitor, the display port shows ‘no signal’. I’m not seeing anything on the screen at all. What could be causing this issue and how can I troubleshoot it?

Are you getting any kind of boot screen, or is it just stuck on ‘no signal’? It’s important to check if your PC is actually turning on properly. Sometimes, if the GPU isn’t seated well, it can cause this issue. Double-check your connections and make sure the GPU is firmly in place.
If your monitor isn’t showing the startup screen at all, it could be a bit tricky. Usually, the boot screen will show the motherboard brand logo, like ‘press F2 to enter BIOS’. If you’re not even seeing that, it might be a good idea to check that the monitor is set to the correct input source. Also, try connecting the monitor to the GPU with a different cable or even a different port.
