I recently downloaded the Fabulously Optimized assembly and loaded BSL shaders. Initially, I played Minecraft with a smooth 70-100 FPS for about two hours, but then my FPS dropped drastically to a maximum of 30-50, sometimes even dipping to 10 FPS. What could be causing this lag, and what should I do to fix it?

Also, make sure there aren’t any conflicting mods or resource packs causing performance issues. Sometimes extra shaders and settings can eat up your resources if they’re too demanding.
It sounds like you might be running out of memory when you’re playing. When your FPS drops, check the F3 screen to see how much RAM Minecraft is using. If you’re only allocating the default 2GB, you might need to increase that in your launcher settings to avoid lag as you play longer.
