Hey everyone, I’m having some trouble with my 5090 graphics card. I’m getting lower performance than expected, especially when I look at benchmarks on YouTube. For instance, in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, I have everything set to ultra with DLSS quality at 4K, and I’m only averaging about 100-110 fps. I recently watched a video where someone with an FE card and lower clock speeds was getting around 140-150 fps without any DLSS. That’s a huge 40 fps difference! I’ve got a 9800x3d CPU just like the other guys, and the same RAM speed. I also turned on EXPO and have tried undervolting and overclocking my GPU to about 2800-2900 MHz. Even when I reset to default mode in Afterburner with no overclocking or undervolting, it doesn’t seem to help much. I’m really at a loss and would appreciate any advice or insights before considering a return. Thanks!

Honestly, your 5090 is likely performing as it should. If it’s not malfunctioning, I wouldn’t worry too much about RMA just because of a YouTube comparison. The benchmarks might not tell the whole story—there could be differences in their configurations or other factors at play.
It sounds like you might be missing something in your settings. Even slight differences can lead to big variations in performance. Double-check to make sure you’re matching every detail, like resolution and in-game configurations. It could also be beneficial to test different scenarios in the game to see if you get different results. Just a thought!
Yeah, I’ve noticed even small tweaks can change performance a lot. Keep an eye on background processes too, they can affect FPS!
Exactly! Plus, manufacturers generally don’t cover returns just based on variances in video benchmark results. Your card is still a powerhouse!
