I’ve been playing Minecraft using the Lunar client and hadn’t installed the original launcher until recently to get a new cape. Before I downloaded the original launcher, I was getting around 1000+ fps, which was great for my specs. Now, even though I’m still using Lunar, my game has been lagging a lot, dropping down to about 80 fps with massive dips to 10-20 fps. I’ve allocated 16 GB of RAM to Minecraft, but my performance is way worse than before. My specs are Ryzen 5 7500F, RTX 4060, 32 GB RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD, and everything else runs perfectly fine. I usually play on Java version 1.21.4. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Try allocating 12 GB of RAM instead of 16. It might sound weird, but for some players, that actually works better to improve performance. Give it a shot!
Are you using the Sodium mod with Lunar? It’s worth checking. You can also show your F3 screen to see what’s going on with your performance. Sometimes that helps diagnose the issue better!
I don’t think I have the Sodium mod.
Nah, I tried that too and still ended up with really low fps and those annoying drops.
