I’ve been shopping around for an Xbox in the USA, and it seems a lot harder to get one than I expected. I’ve heard that in other countries where Xbox isn’t as popular, stock issues might exist, but I’m curious why it’s tough here. For instance, my local GameStop doesn’t sell them new and won’t ship, while Best Buy requires you to order online instead of just walking in. I did find one at Target nearby, but it makes me wonder if they’re phasing out production or just having stock issues? Has anyone else noticed this?

They’re definitely not phasing it out! It’s just that retailers aren’t stocking them regularly in physical stores anymore. You can usually find them online without too much trouble, though.
