I just finished playing Avowed and had an incredible time, especially with my Grimoire-Pistol and Arquebus combo. It was the best of both worlds, mixing powerful magic with great gunplay. I made sure to collect all the weapons I could find, thinking that once I beat the main story, I’d have the chance to experiment with different builds, as the combat is extremely fun. But I was really disappointed to find out that after finishing the game, there’s no way to continue playing. I understand that Obsidian isn’t known for giving us post-credit content, but I really wish we could at least use the weapons we collected after reaching the point of no return. This is one of my few complaints about an otherwise fantastic game, and it definitely left me with a sour taste in my mouth.

I totally get your frustration! It wouldn’t be surprising if they do end up adding post-game DLC since they hinted at it in the ending. Let’s hope for a New Game Plus feature to let us use those cool weapons that seem wasted after the final mission.
Yeah, I think the game definitely needs a NG+. Those powerful weapons from the Garden were epic, and it feels like a missed opportunity to not be able to use them once you finish the game. Plus, the map could use some work too. Still enjoyed the game, though!
Honestly, just turn off the minimap if it bothers you—it really doesn’t add much!
Exactly! I was stockpiling resources thinking there would be more to do after the main story, but there’s really not much point. It seems like they should definitely include a New Game Plus mode so we can experience the game in new ways without starting over. It’s a shame to have all that loot with no use once you finish.
Haha, right? I loaded up on resources just to realize it was useless at the end. Maybe next time they’ll let us keep using what we gather!
What did they hint at? I must have missed it!
