I’ve racked up over 3,000 hours in Apex, yet I still know very little about the ALGS (Apex Legends Global Series). It baffles me that there isn’t a more effective way to showcase these events within the game itself. While I’m not looking to compete, I would love to catch the matches live. It seems like there should be a simple feature where I log in and see a prominent ‘LIVE – WATCH ALGS’ button. Clicking that would take me to the firing range with streams displayed on monitors, so I can hang out with friends while watching the action. Is it too much to ask for a little more visibility and excitement around ALGS?

Honestly, I totally agree with your idea! There should be a major push to incorporate in-game events where we can watch matches live. When I got the team banner frames, that was such an exciting way to support teams. Ever since then, I’ve been wishing they would do something similar for the ALGS—just to cheer for them visually in-game! Although I hear it’s tricky because EA and the teams can’t agree on revenue sharing, so it’s a bit of a mess.
I’ve been tuning into B-Stream more lately, and it’s honestly a blast! The energy from the commentators really brings the matches to life. But you’re right; the in-game communication about ALGS is just lacking! I only hear about events through streamers or social media.
I feel you! I’m a big ALGS fan too, but I missed the start of the group stages because I had no idea when they were airing. It would be awesome to have more in-game notifications about events. Like, they could set up something similar to what Fortnite does for their concerts. Just imagine hanging out in the firing range with your buddies while catching a live match on the big screen!
Same here! I thought it was happening a day later since I saw February 2nd, but that was just local time. Gotta improve that communication.
Right? This deal EA proposed seemed pretty lowball, and it’s no wonder teams were not interested. They need to put more value on the teams if they want to make this work.
