I’ve noticed that whenever I watch YouTube or Netflix on my PS5, the quality looks really poor. My internet speed is over 200 Mbps, and my games look great, so I don’t understand why the streaming apps look so bad. Is there something I can do to fix this?

YouTube can be a bit janky on the PS5. The app doesn’t seem to be optimized as well as others, which might be why you’re experiencing issues. Have you tried checking your resolution settings?
As much as I love the PS5, it doesn’t do as well with streaming apps compared to direct smart TV options. You might want to consider using a Chromecast or even just streaming directly on your smart TV for better quality.
Yeah, avoid relying on the PS5 for streaming. It can be hit or miss, especially for 4K content. I recommend using a dedicated device like an Apple TV for streaming instead.
I’ve had the same problem! Sometimes the video quality defaults to a lower setting. Try adjusting the quality manually in the YouTube app. And remember, if you’re not subscribed to YouTube Premium, you might notice some compression issues.
Honestly, I’ve never had any problems with YouTube on my PS5. It could just be a quirk with your network or settings. Have you checked if your PS5 is set to a specific color mode that could affect streaming quality?
