I’m curious about why the Siegebreaker in Save the World uses the Chapter 2 Scar model instead of sticking with the original models like other weapons. For example, the Backbreaker, Bald Eagle, Obliterator, Tiger, Long Arm Enforcer, and Wraith all keep their initial designs. So, what’s the deal with the Siegebreaker and its different model? Honestly, I think the Chapter 2 model is the least appealing.

This has actually been a known bug since the start of Chapter 2 in BR. I highly doubt they’ll ever fix it because they haven’t even acknowledged the issue. There are tons of posts about this, and even attempts to reach out to Epic employees haven’t led to any responses.
It’s likely because Save the World launched first, and then Battle Royale (BR) was made with those original models. I don’t play BR, so I can’t confirm what the guns look like there, but that seems to be a solid theory.
Yeah, that’s probably the best explanation. I’d love to see it go back to the original model, but I guess without a proper story for the game mode, they won’t make changes unless it affects their profits.
True, I’ve seen that bug discussion thread too. It feels like Epic only pays attention to Save the World when they want to sell a new skin. And even if they do pay attention, it’s usually just making things worse instead of better.
