I’ve been playing the Assassin’s Creed 3 Remaster and noticed it looks pretty rough. At first, I thought it might just be my brightness settings, but it turns out the remastered version has some serious visual issues. The sky is way too bright and character models are lacking. I can’t switch to older versions on PS3 or PC, so is there any hope for other games not to have these problems?

I think the HDR settings are what really make it look worse. If you turn HDR off, it actually becomes way more tolerable. The difference is pretty shocking! So if you haven’t tried that yet, give it a go.
Yeah, AC3’s remaster really dropped the ball on visuals! The lighting looks nice, but those character models? Oof! The remaster of Black Flag and Rogue seem to be much better in comparison, so it’s a real head-scratcher why AC3 ended up this way.
For sure! It’s like they messed up something crucial with AC3’s remaster. I’m hoping they can do some patches or something to fix it.
I’ve heard from some folks that tweaking your game, system, and TV settings can help a lot. It sounds complicated, but if you’re up for a bit of fine-tuning, it might improve your experience with the remaster.
I did that, and it made a world of difference! Definitely recommend trying it out.
