I just finished playing Assassin’s Creed II and was super hyped to jump into Brotherhood, thinking the parkour mechanics would be even more polished. But honestly, I feel like it’s way worse! I keep missing ledges and slipping off things, which is just frustrating. How could this happen? It’s making me consider skipping the game altogether!

From what I’ve heard, Brotherhood was developed in a pretty tight timeframe—only about nine months after AC2. That might explain why the feel is a bit off! Just a thought.
It might be that Brotherhood wasn’t really optimized for PC players. I had a blast parkouring in Revelations, though, so maybe it depends on the platform you play on? I’d recommend checking it out there!
Honestly, I think the parkour mechanics are pretty similar to AC2. I don’t see much difference myself! They’re both great!
I totally disagree! I think the parkour in Brotherhood is way smoother than in AC2. I just started playing Brotherhood again and found the mechanics to be really slick and responsive. Sure, sometimes the character makes some goofy moves, and it leaves us shaking our heads, but overall it feels better to me!
Yeah, there are definitely those moments! But I guess that’s just part of the AC charm. It can be a bit frustrating, for sure.
