I’ve just started playing Final Fantasy XVI, and I’m really disappointed with the sound quality using my Steelseries Arctis 3. It sounds way worse compared to my Turtle Beach headset on my Xbox. Is there a specific reason for this, or could it just be an issue with the game itself?

One simple fix is to turn off the 3D audio option in your PS5 settings. It can really mess with the sound quality depending on the headset you’re using.
I’m not the OP, but I’ve been looking into getting the SteelSeries Arctis GameBuds. Is this 3D audio issue common with certain headphones?
I had a similar experience with my Steelseries Arctis 7. I plugged it into my PC and tweaked the equalizer settings using the SteelSeries app, and it made a HUGE difference in sound quality! The good part is that the adjusted settings carry over to other devices like the PS5.
But isn’t that kinda important for immersion?
