I’m having a frustrating issue where my PS5 randomly shuts off every 15 to 30 minutes. I haven’t seen an overheat warning, but I did buy a cooling station hoping to fix the problem, and it hasn’t helped at all. It’s strange because the console seems to overheat primarily when I play more demanding games like Doom Eternal, The Finals, and Ghost of Tsushima—specifically their PS5 versions. Any tips or potential fixes would be really appreciated!

Sounds like there might be a problem with your GPU. If it’s dying, that would definitely cause shutdowns during intense gaming. You might want to get it checked out.
It might be a good idea to stop using that cooling stand. They can actually mess with the airflow and do more harm than good. Try cleaning out your console; it’s often a simple fix that can solve the shutting-off issue.
Try laying your PS5 horizontally instead of using that stand. Also, give it a thorough cleaning—it can help a lot!
Check if the vents are dirty, especially at the bottom. Dust buildup can block airflow and cause it to shut down. A deep cleaning could do wonders for your PS5.
