Why Does My PS5 Keep Deleting Games?

I’ve been having this frustrating issue with my PS5. Yesterday I was playing GTA, and the next day when I went to start my PS5, I found the game had disappeared! This isn’t the first time it’s happened; it also happened with Phasmophobia. Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

Another thing to check is if you got the game through a subscription service like Ultimate. If you stop paying for it, the game can get removed from your console. Just a thought; hope that helps!

It could be a glitch, but did you accidentally upset someone? My buddy had a similar issue after a fight with his partner—they were deleting his games as a prank. Just a thought! But if you’re single, that might not be the case!

I think it might be related to a buggy update. I had an issue with Rock Band getting deleted right after a restart. It’s so annoying when that happens!
