I’ve got a pretty new PC, just 5 months old, but it’s been acting up. Occasionally, it shuts down on its own and then powers back on. This has been happening for about a month, but today, I noticed it showed a static disturbance on my monitor along with some weird static sounds from the speakers. I checked the Event Viewer, and I found error codes 41 and 6008. Here are my specs: Intel i5 12400F, 6500XT graphics card, Corsair 16GB DDR5 Vengeance RAM, a 512GB SSD, and an Ant Esports VS600L power supply. I’m using an LG monitor at 1080p. Any ideas on what’s going on?

When your PC shuts down like that, I’d recommend double-checking the BIOS settings. If you have XMP enabled, sometimes that can cause instability if the memory isn’t 100% compatible or stable. Also, does it shut down while gaming, or only during lighter tasks? That might give a clue about what’s triggering it.
It sounds like your power supply might be the culprit. The Ant Esports VS600L isn’t known for being the highest quality. If your PC keeps shutting down, start by checking if the power supply is stable or consider swapping it out for something more reliable.
What do you think about the PSU I listed? You think it’s worth replacing?

It happened twice while playing CS2 on medium settings, but today it was just during light writing. I think XMP is enabled, but maybe it’s worth testing it out.
