I’m really frustrated because every time I progress to Hardmode, my Hallow biome seems to spawn right smack in the jungle. This time it’s even worse—I’ve got the Crimson spreading at my spawn point! On top of that, my hellevator instantly turns into an evil biome, making it a real hassle to find any underground Hallow. It feels like every world I create just has the worst Hallow placement. Is there any way to deal with this, or is it just bad luck?

If you really want to control where the Hallow and evil biomes land, you could totally use the save scumming method. Just turn off autosave and try to get the location you prefer. The random placements depend on the world size and the dungeon’s position, so you might have a bit of control over it this way!
Sounds like you’re just having a tough time with RNG! Usually, the Hallow tends to spawn closer to the forest or desert, but it can definitely end up in the jungle. If your hellevator isn’t centered, that might increase the chances of the evil biome spreading right through it. Try digging a more central hellevator next time—though, it still might not change the Hallow’s location that much.
Ugh, I feel your pain! Every single run I’ve done has had the Hallow in the jungle too. It completely ruins the flow because farming for souls becomes a pain with the jungle being so dense. I’ve never seen it spawn in the desert either, which is supposed to be the norm. It’s like the game has it out for us! You’re definitely not alone in this.
