So I’ve noticed that when I fully charge my battery, it stops at 99%. I’ve even left it plugged in longer to see if it would hit 100%, but it never does. Is this normal behavior, or do I need to reach out to Valve for help?

Just a heads up, there’s no precise moment when a battery is fully charged. The system will stop charging at around when it seems to hold enough energy. The reading can be a bit off too because it’s tricky to measure exactly when it’s ‘full’. So, don’t stress about it!
It’s totally normal! Many devices do this to keep your battery healthy over time. If it charged to 100%, it might slowly lose charge afterwards, but stopping at 99% helps maintain its longevity. You’re fine, no need to panic about it!
Yeah, it’s intentional. They designed it this way to prevent battery wear. Keeping a lithium battery charged above certain levels for too long isn’t great. As long as you’re not seeing wild drops once you unplug it, you should be all good!
Exactly! If you do unplug and notice the battery dropping fast, then it could be a concern. Otherwise, it’s just how they’ve set it up to maximize battery lifespan.
