Hey everyone! I’ve noticed that the analog sticks on my Switch 2 feel pretty loose, almost like they have no resistance at all. I’m curious about why Nintendo might have designed them this way. Do you think getting a pro controller would be a good idea? Do those have better, more sturdy sticks?

The loose tension might actually be a design choice because the sticks are short. It doesn’t feel great to have too much tension on shorter sticks. The pro controller has a bit more resistance, but its sticks are longer, which makes a difference.
Definitely check out the pro controller! In my opinion, it’s one of the best controllers out there. They’ve also improved the D-pad, which is a huge plus.
I think it really depends on individual preference. My Switch 2 sticks feel fine, but maybe yours are defective? I’ve experienced similar issues with the OLED model before.
