Hey everyone! I’m pretty new to League and finally decided to dive into ranked this week. I’m currently in Iron, and while I’m not great, I’m just trying to enjoy the game! I mainly play three support champions: Milio, Lulu, and Taric. So, whenever I get filled as support, I pick one of those. Recently, I wanted to play Milio, but my ADC banned him and pressured me to choose a tank or someone who hooks. Since I had never played those roles, I went with Lulu instead. The game started off painfully with them being really negative towards me, blaming me for everything, and even celebrating when I died. Is this type of behavior common with ADCs? It seems to happen often for me!

Honestly, if your teammate bans your champ, it can often turn into a loss because they’re already griefing. Just pick another champ and focus on your own gameplay. If they continue to be toxic, maybe dodge the game if it gets too bad.
Welcome to the League of Legends community! It can feel like hell sometimes with all the toxicity in low elo, but just remember: you are learning. It’s fine to mess around with different champions, but focusing on mastering a few is the way to go. So don’t sweat it!
I feel you on that! I thought I was diving into hell too when I started. But hang in there!
In low elo, many ADCs want to be ‘the main character’ and get really aggressive when things don’t go their way. Just focus on what you can control and don’t take it personally. The best option is to mute and keep playing your game! Just remember, even in ranked, don’t forget to improve your own skills instead of worrying about those who don’t understand the game.
Totally agree! They should know that complaining doesn’t help their game and just makes them look worse.
First off, don’t let toxic players get to you! Just mute them as soon as they start being rude. Trust me, some ADCs just don’t understand the role of support and expect you to feed their egos. Stick with the champions you know and play to your strengths. You might even want to roam more during the game if they refuse to engage. At the end of the day, you can’t control how they play, but you can definitely control your own game. Also, it’s perfectly fine to have a small champion pool at your level!
How exactly do I mute someone in-game? Is it just /mute “name”?
Totally! You can mute them, but remember: it’s not just in League. Toxicity can happen in any team-based game! Just focus on your own play.
Honestly, you really don’t need to learn every champion in the game. If you’re comfortable with those three, stick with them for now. Experience in your chosen champions and game mechanics is much more valuable, especially at low ranks. Yes, there are toxic players, but just mute them and try to have fun!
Haha, exactly! People love to blame others instead of facing their own faults.
I hate when that happens! It seems like some people just want to ruin the game for everyone.
