I’ve noticed that many streamers and YouTubers tend to skip or not show the “Go Tell Aunt Rhody” song in Resident Evil 7. I really don’t get why they do this, since I think it’s one of the best parts of the game and it really sets the tone and immerses you right from the start. Can anyone explain this to me?

I think copyright issues might be a big part of it. These days, copyright laws are super strict, and a lot of streamers prefer to avoid potential headaches by not showing music that could get them in trouble.
Some streamers might be missing out on that intro entirely! If they start recording after the game menu, they might never catch it.
Honestly, it could also be about ad revenue. Some streamers are more focused on making money from their streams, and including copyrighted music might mess with that.
Not all streamers even start recording until after the intro. Plus, I didn’t even see the song the first time I loaded the game; it only showed up the second time.
You really think streamers care about appreciating game art? That’s a good laugh! They’re just there for the views.
Lol, true! Just like Mr. Krabs, they can’t resist the cash!
