I’ve been seeing a lot of posts from people reporting crazy playtimes while I’m nearing the end of Act 3 and haven’t even hit 100 hours yet! I’ve explored a ton, tackled side quests, and the game seems to be guiding me towards the end. I can’t help but wonder how the maps can seem this small with so many hours logged and if gameplay on Explorer mode could be affecting my time. I’m really enjoying the game and I’m just curious about what I might be missing that leads others to clock those huge hours in Act 1.

I’m another thorough player too and can definitely relate! I clocked in 150 hours on my first run because I soaked in every dialogue and reconnaissance. It’s tough to see how others manage over 100 hours in Act 1, unless they’re really taking their sweet time exploring or just doing repeated runs.
Different playstyles definitely impact time. If you’re playing more casually, taking in the scenery, and enjoying interactions, it’s easy to spend more time without rushing compared to the people speed-running through main missions. Playing on Explorer probably makes it easier to miss challenging content that could stretch your playtime.
Honestly, there’s not really 100 hours of content in Act 1 itself. Sometimes players get stuck re-rolling their characters and starting over, which can pad their time significantly. Plus, with you playing on Explorer mode, you’re cruising through without getting challenged, making your hours look shorter compared to others who take their time.
A lot of folks get caught up in all the small interactions throughout the game, like talking to animals or finding hidden chests. Many might not spend time on those details, so it really depends on how much you explore! If you’re enjoying your playstyle, don’t sweat what others are doing. Enjoy the ride, it’s all about how you prefer to play!
Honestly, I’ve spent hundreds of hours in this game just to experience all the interactions and details. When you really dive into the lore and the options, it swells your playtime. But if you’re enjoying how you play, that’s what matters!
